Entertainment and Sports

Sports and Entertainment
Our Entertainment and Sports law practice involves transactional work and encompasses the areas of advertising, art, fashion, film, merchandising, music, new media, publicity rights, theater, performing arts, publishing, and sports. We represent artists, athletes, models, bands, songwriters, recording companies, producers, and managers and provide them with counseling regarding business law and contracts.

We counsel our clients regarding business formation, management, and the protection of assets, including copyrights and trademarks. We regularly counsel clients on issues that arise in connection with the exploitation of intellectual property, such as the right of publicity, right of privacy, defamation, and misappropriation. In addition, we draft and negotiate various agreements such as recording, distribution, personal appearance, employment, engagement, tour, songwriter, mechanical, and merchandising agreements.
